Discover, observe, and learn the BTA method - no official certifications required, outside the Italian system.
The BTA Experience for Coach is a unique and immersive program designed for basketball coaches and instructors who want to observe, understand, and experience the BTA method directly on the court. This is not a theoretical or manual-based course: each session offers a window into real practice, with an integrated approach combining technique, performance, and the philosophy of the game.
Who Can Participate: Active or aspiring coaches and trainers, with no age limits. No official certification is required: the goal is to learn the BTA method, experience innovative techniques, and bring new ideas to your own coaching practice.
WHAT IT INCLUDES
OBJECTIVES OF THE EXPERIENCE
MODULAR STRUCTURE
Learn to observe and enhance players’ fundamental movements. Focus on ball control, dribbling, coordination, and footwork. Discover how small technical details can make a major difference in overall performance.
Analyze and apply shooting and finishing techniques. Observe how players develop accuracy, consistency, and decision-making under pressure, and understand the connection between shooting mechanics, timing, and game context.
Learn how to create a positive and motivating environment. Explore team management, effective communication, and building a culture of growth and trust. This module highlights the coach’s role as a leader and role model.
Focus on concentration, strategy, and pressure management. Learn how to train players’ minds to make better decisions, react effectively to unexpected situations, and develop mental resilience during training and games.
Evaluate movement patterns and prevent injuries. Learn to identify inefficient patterns, muscular imbalances, and proper techniques to optimize performance and reduce injury risk. Includes practical, on-court examples.
This module goes beyond theory or watching videos. Coaches directly observe live training sessions conducted by our instructors, seeing how each drill is adapted in real time based on the player and situation. Learn how to translate theory into practice, decide on corrections, motivate players, and monitor progress. This is a hands-on module of mentoring and applied observation, providing practical tools to implement in your own coaching context.
Each module includes direct observation of players, practical explanations from coaches, and tools to apply in your own coaching environment.
Witness tangible results: coaches will directly observe players currently performing at high levels, with supporting stories documented in the players’ testimonials available on our website.

KEY BENEFITS
This page is not only for those in sports, but for anyone who believes in the potential of the human spirit.
I use the arena of athletics as a vehicle to explore leadership, creativity, and performance — on the court and in life. Sport has always been my way to ask deeper questions and, sometimes, find meaningful answers.
After more than 40 years as an athlete, coach, and teacher, I don’t see myself as someone who has 'arrived', but as a seeker. A traveler practicing every day to become a better version of myself. Not a Zen monk, but someone learning, listening, and growing — in the flow of wisdom that moves from others to me, and from me to you.
The 'BTA Experience' was born from this: the desire to merge practice and technique with inner growth. Because coaching is not only about developing players, but also about guiding people on their journey of growth, both in and beyond the game.
Recommended periods: summer months or championship breaks, allowing observation of professional-level players in action.
Book your experience and step into the BTA world, where the freedom to be yourself and the growth of the player are at the heart of everything we do.

Even the youngest players can explore basketball in creative, non-traditional ways. Here are two short examples of a 10–11-year-old working through exercises designed to build coordination, confidence, and freedom of movement.
