EYE DISEASES

Euphrasia - Natural anti-inflammatory, it is rich in vitamins A, B, D, E. This herb has been used for the past hundred of years as a remedy for the eyes, especially for conjunctivitis and for almost all ailments of the eye. It has ophthalmic properties: Eyebright is known as the myopic herb. It strengthens the eyes, both internally and externally. Tones and relieves eye inflammation. Decongestant and soothing for the eyes. Serves as an anti-bactericide and to treat conjunctivitis and styes. Internal application: This plant has been ingested to improve the eyesight, in addition to healing the ocular surface, relieving inflammation and excessive tearing, fights eye infections and reduces visual inflammations. If it is regularly taken in infusions, it prevents and reduces cataracts and carnosities of the eyes. External application: For its astringent and sedative activity, its infusion is applied in cases of conjunctivitis, blepharitis, sties, and other eye conditions with inflammation, redness, itching or tearing. It is also useful in catarrhal conditions of other mucous membranes, such as the nasal and middle ear (congestive otitis). It is excellent for healing wounds.
